I just lost my Cairn to old age he was 16 years old. I was trying to find some relatives of his even thought he was just a companion the best dog in world. I miss him so much I can hardly sleep, it's been almost 3 weeks but I'm still heart broken. I tried search from his papers, should I e-mail the American Kennel club? This site is outstanding!

I can't imagine the amount of hard work that has gone into setting up and maintaining!

Official titles - after name JW [Junior Warrent] from GB KC seems to be missing.

I have entered my pup into the database for next update, would like to enter more from my pedigree - all are there from sire side but not from dam, need to reseach the breeders names to be able to do that, in a sort of catch 22 heh ;).

PLEASE keep this site going, it is absolutely marvellous!

#60 Foxairn Daisy Cutter is an American champion. There is a dog listed as Foxairn Gee Wiz.... that is NOT one of ours. It is listed as being owned by Bill McFadden. The kennel prefix must be wrong. Also Ch. Foxairn Han Solo is sired by Am. Can. Ch. Foxairn Rin Tin Tin out of UK Am. Ch. Gyncairn Simply the Best.

I love this web-site. Thank you for all your hard work. Just a note - in Official titles - some are missing. My Cairn Curriewood's Tiffiny CD earned her SHD(Scent Hurdle Dog), SHDX (Scent Hurdle Dog Excellent) and SHDCH (Scent Hurdle Dog Champion) These are CKC titles. Scent Hurdling is similar to flyball, but uses a dumbell and is recognized by the CKC.

several dogs for breeder Tharr Barr are listed but do not have their champion titles listed, also when I tried to enter the name Tharr Barr's Just for Pete the r in for went in as an e.I have also updated incorrect registration #'s. I will try & update the entire Tharr Barr dogs listed, I think listing that they are champions is very important for the breeder it shows that they have spent a lot of time & effort in getting their dogs the title & should be recognized for it.I appreciate this service & most of all , I like to see that the information is accurate. I am still having trouble. When I bring up Cairndania now there is 100 matches. Before it would bring up 348. When I try to use the trial pedigree, I must be doing something wrong also. I will type in the names of the two dogs and it will say sire not names. Example: Cairndania Thomas Tracker/sire with FurClan's Sweet Sarah/dam

If Slow Search is used it will bring up more than 100 matches...... /Berit

Jag har idag varit inne och sett att Ni uppdaterat. Jag har skickat in tre rättelser som tydligen inte har daterats upp. När jag söker idag så får jag antingen fram de flesta av våra hundar på långsam sökning eller en hund ensam på snabb sökning. Det bör väl inte finnas olika system för att hitta en uppfödares alla hundar? Ändringarna är fel i stamtavlorna vilket inte är bra.

Berit, your pedigree search is the best thing that has happened to the internet! I use it all the time and thank you so much for all the hard work you put into it.

The only thing I would change is the banner on the bottom of the page. I can only see Guestbook and Home/Search. Everything is below the line on my screen. If some of the green was reduced it would give more room.

am hoping that someone can help, am looking for any relatives of Toptwig Becheberie, our beloved dog sophie, she had quite a few puppies and unfortunatly we have lost contact. I think this site is really great. I have been adding dogs as time permits. I have a lot of old pedigrees. So many times an older breeder dies and the family gets rid of old peds, or various disasters happen (fire, flood, etc.) Recording the peds on this site saves then for future use.

Found out about this website via the Midland Cairn Terrier Club Newsletter Autumn 2001.

I love this sight. It is a great help to me personally. I have only one question. There are several dogs that do not list their titles and instead of going through individually correcting each one is there a simpler way to do it?
